Didn't want to toss a perfectly good hose just because the female end split, and this push-fit mender slid right on by hand with no tools. It's been a couple weeks of regular watering and it hasn't leaked or popped off once.

My old hose had a cracked female end and I figured I'd have to replace the whole thing, but this pushed right on in about ten seconds with no tools. Solid seal so far, no leaks at the connection.

Didn't want to mess with clamps or screwdrivers, and this thing just pushed right onto my 5/8 hose in seconds. The female end clicks onto the sprayer snugly and hasn't leaked through a few weeks of watering. Way easier than I expected for a repair part.
