Snapped my garden hose right at the middle and this fixed it in about two minutes with just a screwdriver. The oversized grip is genuinely nice to hold when I'm dragging the hose around the yard, and it hasn't leaked once in three weeks of regular watering.
Wasn't sure a mender could feel this sturdy, but the oversized gripping surfaces make it easy to twist on even with wet hands. Repaired the center section of my 3/4 inch hose in a couple minutes and it hasn't leaked since.
The soft-touch grip on this mender is way nicer than the hard plastic ones I've used before, no slipping even with wet hands. It clamped onto my 3/4 inch hose without any leaks so far.
