I screwed a spare impact head onto this ring and it made a way better sprinkler than the plastic one I had. The metal is thick enough that it doesn't wobble when the water's on full.
The metal threading bit into my old brass sprinkler head without stripping, which was my main worry. It's stayed put through a full summer of watering the back field, no leaks at the joint. Solid little piece for the price.
I screwed this onto an old sprinkler head I had lying around and now I've got a custom setup for watering the whole garden. The metal base hasn't rusted or bent after a full season outside. Way sturdier than the plastic one I replaced.
