This valve replaces lost or damaged versions on the Orbit, Yard, Garden Enforcer models. Allows proper opening and closing of mechanism when motion sensor is triggered.
The original valve on my sprinkler seized up after two seasons, so I grabbed this as a replacement and it slotted right in. Motion sensor triggers the valve open and shut exactly like it should now. Cheaper than buying a whole new unit.
Snapped right in and the sprinkler arm opens and closes on cue again when the sensor trips. Only gripe is the little O-ring seemed dry, so I dabbed a bit of silicone grease on before installing. For a cheap part it saved me from buying a whole new unit.
After two summers of the sprinkler refusing to shut off, swapping in this valve finally got the mechanism opening and closing right when the sensor trips. Only wish it came with a new O-ring, since mine was pretty worn.
