The stainless steel clamps on this mender actually bite down tight, no drips after a few weeks of watering. Took me maybe five minutes to cut out the cracked section and slide it on. Cheaper than a new hose and it's holding fine.

Wasn't sure a little brass fitting could save a hose I'd written off, but the stainless steel clamp snugged down tight and sealed it on the first try. No drips at the joint after a week of watering. Way cheaper than replacing 50 feet of hose.

My hose split right at the middle and I figured I'd have to buy a new one, but this mender fixed it in about ten minutes. The stainless steel clamps crank down tight and there's no drip at all, even with the faucet wide open. Two months in and it's holding up fine.
