Swapped out my old plastic connector for this brass one and the difference is obvious the second you pick it up, it's got real weight to it. The shut-off lever turns smoothly and stops the water completely instead of dripping like my last one did.
The shut-off lever on this thing is so much smoother than the plastic one it replaced, and I can dial the flow down to a trickle without any dripping. Brass feels solid in hand too, so I expect it to outlast a few seasons on the hose splitter.
Swapped out the old plastic coupler on my hose reel for this brass one and the difference is obvious. The shut-off lever moves smooth and lets me cut the water right at the nozzle instead of running back to the spigot. No leaks at the threads either.
