The 24 VAC solenoid fired up perfectly on the first try, and the jar-top design makes cleaning the built-in filter a quick twist instead of a hassle. I've got three zones stacked side-by-side in the valve box and everything fits snug with zero leaks.
The built-in filter and pressure regulator mean I don't have to buy separate pieces, which saved me a trip to the store. The jar-top valve feels solid and the threads seated cleanly without any leak at 24 VAC. Four of them fit snugly in my box, just like it says.
Screwing this onto my manifold took five minutes, and the fact that four zones fit side-by-side in a standard valve box is a lifesaver for my cramped setup. The integrated filter and regulator mean my emitters haven't clogged once since I swapped it in, even with our hard well water.
