The oversized dial is genuinely easy to grip even with wet, muddy hands, and twisting it to set a watering time takes two seconds. I've been using it on my raised beds all summer and it just works, no leaks at the connection either.

The twist dial is so much easier than fiddling with tiny buttons on my old timer, and not needing batteries is a huge relief. I just set it and walk away, it's been running perfectly every morning for two weeks now.

No batteries to fuss with is the main reason I grabbed this, and the oversized dial is genuinely easy to grip even with wet hands. Only gripe is that the timer runs a bit fast, so I set it shorter than the marked time. Still beats dragging out the old electronic one.
