Took a gamble that this would fit the random faucet in my backyard, and the universal sizing did the trick—it slipped right onto the threads without any wobble. The 1/2-inch connection snapped onto my drip line securely, no leaks so far.

Finally got around to hooking up my drip lines and this adapter did the job without any leaks at the connection point. The universal fit worked fine with the 1/2-inch tubing I had, though I did need a wrench to get it snug on the faucet threads.

The fit is snug but not impossible to tighten by hand, which is a relief since my faucet threads are a bit worn. It grips the 1/2-inch tubing firmly once you get it seated, and the universal sizing lived up to the description for my setup.
