I mounted the timer on my garage's brick wall and everything I needed was in the bag, including the lag shield for the masonry. The bolt and lock washer held the 7-1/4 inch brace rock solid, though I did have to dig out my own wrench since one isn't included.
The lag shield saved me a trip to the hardware store since I mounted the timer on brick. Every piece was in the bag, including the lock washer and nut, so the install took maybe ten minutes.
Was about to rig up my timer with random screws from the junk drawer, then found this kit has the exact 7-1/4 inch brace plus the lag shield for masonry. Everything matched up thread-wise, no stripping, no trips back to the store.
