Took a while to dial in the spray distance with the flow control knob, but once I got it set to about 2 feet it waters my shrubs perfectly without getting the walkway wet. The 1-16 GPH range gives me plenty of flexibility for different plant sizes.
The flow control knob is genuinely useful for adjusting the spray from a tight stream to a wider mist, and it holds its setting once you lock it in. I wish the range felt a bit more precise at the low end for tiny pots, but for shrubs and general spot watering it does the job well.
The flow control knob really does let me dial in the spray distance—I've got it hitting a shrub at about 2.5 feet without much fuss. Took a little fiddling to get the barb seated snug in the 1/4" tubing, but once it was in, it's held steady. Good enough for spot watering my tomatoes.
