The weighted base actually keeps this thing from tipping over when I drag the hose around the corner of the yard. I keep it on the wedge setting for my side strip and it hits the whole 962 square feet without me moving it. Switching between the 8 patterns is stiff at first but loosens up.
Wasn't expecting much for the price but this thing soaked my whole side yard in one pass — the end strip setting is perfect for the narrow strip along my fence. The weighted base is nice too, no tipping over when I drag the hose across the lawn.
