The stainless steel clamps on this mender actually bite down tight, no drips after a few weeks of watering. Took me maybe five minutes to cut out the cracked section and slide it on. Cheaper than a new hose and it's holding fine.
Wasn't sure a little brass fitting could save a hose I'd written off, but the stainless steel clamp snugged down tight and sealed it on the first try. No drips at the joint after a week of watering. Way cheaper than replacing 50 feet of hose.
