The brass set screw holds this thing on the spigot way tighter than the plastic one it replaced. Poppet opens and closes smoothly every time I shut the water off, no drips. Nice to finally have proper backflow protection on the garden hose.

Was tired of worrying about irrigation water siphoning back into the house supply, so I grabbed this vacuum breaker for my hose setup. The poppet design clicks open when the water's running and seals shut the second I turn the spigot off. Brass set screw holds it tight to the faucet too, no wobble o

The brass set screw actually bites into the faucet threads, so it doesn't wiggle loose every time I drag the hose around the yard. Poppet closes right up the second I shut the water off, no drips. Exactly what I needed for the vegetable beds.
