Heavy-duty is right — I shoved these into clay soil with a rubber mallet and they didn't bend or snap, which is more than I can say for cheaper stakes. The cleats grip so well that even after a windy storm, the 1/2" tubing hasn't budged. Just wish I'd bought a second pack on the first order.
The cleated design really digs into the soil and keeps the 1/2" tubing locked down, even after a few heavy waterings. I installed about twenty of these around my garden beds and haven’t had to adjust a single line since.
My drip lines kept creeping out of the soil last summer, but these cleated stakes grab the ground and hold the 1/2" tubing firmly even after a heavy watering. The heavy-duty build feels like it’ll last several seasons without snapping.
