These little plugs screw right onto the end of 1/4" tubing and keep the dirt and bugs out of the emitter, so the water flow stays steady. I've got them on all my potted plants now, and the spot watering has been reliable all season.
The drip line ends used to get clogged with dirt until I picked these up, and they twist in easily to seal things off. One pack covers all my spot watering runs, so it's a solid buy for the price.
These little plugs fit snugly into my 1/4" lines and keep the dirt out like they're supposed to. Took off one star because a couple of them felt a bit loose in the older tubing I have, but for the price, they're doing the job fine for spot watering.
