I’ve got these on 1/4" lines running to a few shrubs, and the spray distance really does adjust from about a foot out to three, which makes watering individual plants way less fiddly. The screw knob turns smoothly enough that dialing in the exact stream felt intuitive right away.
Took a while to dial in the spray distance with the flow control knob, but once I got it set to about 2 feet it waters my shrubs perfectly without getting the walkway wet. The 1-16 GPH range gives me plenty of flexibility for different plant sizes.
The flow control knob is genuinely handy, letting me dial in the spray from a tight stream to a wider mist depending on where I point it. Took a little fiddling to get the connection snug on my 1/4" line, but once it's set it stays put. Solid little emitter for spot watering.
