It took a couple tries to seat the tubing, but once the nut was loosened it slid right on, and the grip is solid—no leaks at the connection so far. Reusing it is a nice touch since I can swap lines without cutting anything.
Finally, an adapter that actually fits my drip line without fighting it. The loosening nut makes it easy to connect and disconnect the tubing, and the universal sizing works with the .700 OD line I've got. Took me less than a minute to swap it onto the threaded fitting.
The nut loosens easily even with wet hands, which was my main worry with these adapters. It grabbed my 1/2" tubing firmly on the first try, though I had to double-check the O.D. range before trusting the fit. Solid little piece that should outlast a few seasons.
